I am a healthcare and science writer with a passion for long form and investigative journalism. My stories and op-eds have appeared in leading publications. I have a Ph.D. in genetics from Harvard Medical School.

I have covered subjects including drug pricing, compassionate drug use, fertility treatments, evidence-based medicine and more.

I am married, have five kids and live in the wonderful (albeit way-too-cold) city of Boston.

I was born in Puerto Rico and speak Spanish fluently. I also speak conversational German.
